A Brief Overview Provide pediatric patients, families, and groups with outpatient based mental health therapy under the supervision of a designated clinical supervisor. Essential Functions Clinical Care Provide individual, family and/or group therapy for children, adolescents, and families ◦ 24 session slots and 1 emergency session slot per week Shadow and provide psychological consults within different levels of care Attend and participate in department meetings
- clinical and organizational Documentation ◦ Appropriately documents intakes, therapy sessions, safety plans, treatment plans and terminations summaries in the electronic medical record.
- Clinical Care will be shadowed by LI Pathway therapist Phase 2
- LI Pathway therapists will be supervised as the therapist conducts their own intake and therapy sessions Phase 3
- LI Pathway therapists will conduct intake and therapy sessions independently Education Qualifications Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work Required or Master's Degree in a mental health related field with associated field experience Required Experience Qualifications Experience in medical social work or healthcare Preferred Skills and Abilities Requires knowledge of human behavior, social problems, counseling modalities, and community resources.
