Family and Community is a nonprofit agency, seeking a fee-for-service therapist to join our team a few afternoon/evenings a week for in person sessions. We offer supervision, and the chance to connect with clients face-to-face. You will have the flexibility that will complement your existing telehealth practice. New to the field? We offer a supported clinical environment that promotes professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
• Provide specialized counseling services for children and families
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
• Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling
• Utilize ICD-10 codes for accurate documentation and billing purposes
• Provide counseling services for individuals with chronic pain or other specific needs
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated treatment plans
• Assist individuals with autism spectrum disorder in developing social skills and coping strategies

Experience:

• Current licensure as an LAC or LSW (LCSW and LMFT are also welcome to apply)
• Experience in providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals of all ages
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its role in mental health treatment
• Strong diagnostic evaluation skills
