Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Senior HVAC Service Technician and take the lead in delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical services. This role is perfect for experienced technicians eager to apply their construction, plumbing, and appliance repair skills in a fast-paced, field service environment. You'll be responsible for diagnosing complex systems, performing equipment repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of HVAC/R systems across diverse property types. Bring your expertise in schematics, HVAC design, and ammonia refrigeration to help us maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC/R systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling, refrigeration, plumbing, and boiler systems in commercial and residential properties. Read and interpret HVAC design plans and schematics to ensure precise system setup and modifications. Conduct field service operations including equipment repair, welding, mechanical adjustments, and appliance servicing to restore optimal functionality. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, incident logs, and documentation for all work performed. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving ammonia refrigeration systems or specialized HVAC/R equipment. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems; construction or property maintenance experience is highly valued. Extensive knowledge of HVAC/R components including refrigeration systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and plumbing fixtures. Ability to read technical schematics and HVAC design plans accurately. Mechanical aptitude with skills in welding, equipment repair, and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R certifications preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving drivers or similar vehicles required. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in field service operations involving appliance repair or property maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments while maintaining safety protocols.
