About Us We are a growing, integrated psychiatric practice in Monmouth County expanding our clinical services! Originally focused solely on psychiatric care, our practice now offers comprehensive individual therapy alongside cutting-edge interventional treatments, including TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) and Spravato® (Esketamine) . This is a unique opportunity to conduct therapy while also learn about new emerging technologies treating treatment resident depression, in the confines of a small outpatient office. Position Overview We are seeking a versatile and compassionate clinician ( LSW or LAC ) to join our team in a dual role. The ideal candidate will provide individual psychotherapy while also serving as a technician administering and monitoring TMS and Spravato® treatments under the supervision of the psychiatrist. Clinical supervision along with signing off on hours towards full licensure will be provided on site.
Key Responsibilities Therapist Role Psychotherapy:
Provide individual outpatient therapy to adults (18+) presenting with a wide range of mental health diagnoses.
Intakes & Treatment Planning:
Conduct comprehensive clinical intakes and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans to establish appropriate care paths.
Evidence-Based Care:
Utilize evidence-based modalities, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care.
Documentation:
Complete intake assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately within 24 hours.
Collaboration:
Actively participate in weekly staff meetings and clinical supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Valid New Jersey LSW (Licensed Social Worker) or LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor) required.
Therapy Experience:
Prefer candidates with 1 year of post-graduate therapy experience ( relevant internship experience may be considered for strong new graduate candidates ).
Technical Aptitude:
Ability and willingness to be trained in operating TMS medical devices and managing Spravato® treatment protocols.
Attributes:
Strong interpersonal skills, reliable, highly organized, and comfortable balancing clinical therapy hours with active medical treatment monitoring. •Base pay and benefits are both negotiable.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
