Mountainside, NJ Job Details Part-time $85 - $100 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Master of Counseling Substance abuse treatment center experience Master's degree Substance abuse counseling Counseling Psychology Substance abuse Social Work Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders Group counseling Group therapy instruction Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Part-Time Group Facilitator to join our growing Primary Substance Use Disorder (SUD) PHP/IOP program . The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field and have experience facilitating therapeutic groups for individuals in recovery.
Schedule:
Two days a week (flexible on days), 8 hours a day Responsibilities Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups for adults receiving PHP/IOP substance use treatment. Foster a safe, supportive, and therapeutic group environment. Implement evidence-based group curriculum focused on recovery, relapse prevention, coping skills, and life skills. Encourage client participation while maintaining appropriate group dynamics. Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support client progress and treatment goals. Qualifications Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required. Previous experience facilitating groups in a substance use disorder treatment setting required. Knowledge of addiction, recovery principles, and evidence-based treatment practices. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Experience in PHP, IOP, or other behavioral health treatment settings is preferred.
