Job Description

Links ABA Therapy is seeking a BT/ABA Therapist to provide 1:1, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism in Rahway, NJ. In this child-centered, collaborative environment, you will implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs, support communication and daily living skills, and collect accurate data each session. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, receive ongoing training and supervision, and play a key role in supporting families and improving children's functional independence. Responsibilities Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in an on-site setting Implement individualized behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans designed by BCBAs Collect accurate session data and document progress in clinical systems Support functional communication, social skills, and daily living skills development Follow behavior support and crisis-prevention procedures to maintain safety Collaborate with supervising BCBAs and clinical team on goals and treatment updates Communicate professionally with caregivers and provide session feedback Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and performance feedback Maintain confidentiality and comply with clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards Adhere to scheduled weekday afternoon sessions and attendance expectations Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Behavior intervention planning Data collection and progress monitoring Implementation of treatment plans Functional communication training Autism spectrum disorder knowledge Crisis prevention and de-escalation Parent/caregiver training support Therapeutic documentation Collaboration with BCBAs and clinicians
