Job Description

Links ABA Therapy seeks a BT/ABA Therapist to provide 1:1 therapy to children with autism in Union City, NJ. In this on-site role, you will implement individualized ABA treatment and behavior plans created by a BCBA, use evidence-based techniques such as DTT and positive reinforcement, and collect accurate data each session. You will ensure client safety, maintain confidentiality, complete thorough documentation, and communicate professionally with families and team members. Links ABA offers a collaborative, child-centered environment with ongoing training, supervision, and opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in clinic, home, or community settings Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans as directed by supervising BCBACollect accurate data on behaviors and skill acquisition during each session Complete timely and professional session notes and documentation Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA strategies to support learning Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and team members to support client goals Maintain client safety and follow all clinical, ethical, and confidentiality standards Participate in required trainings, supervision, and performance feedback sessions Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Behavior intervention plan (BIP) execution Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Data collection and session note documentation Reinforcement strategies and behavior management Following treatment plans designed by BCBABasic knowledge of autism spectrum disorders Use of visual supports and teaching materials Parent/caregiver communication basics HIPAA and client confidentiality compliance
