Job Description

Links ABA Therapy is seeking a BT/ABA Therapist in West Orange, NJ to provide 1:1 after-school therapy for children with autism, Monday-Friday, 5:30-7:30 PM. In this child-centered, collaborative role, you will implement individualized ABA treatment plans created by a BCBA, use strategies like DTT and natural environment teaching, and collect accurate data to track progress. You'll communicate with families, follow ethical and safety standards, and participate in ongoing training within a supportive, growth-focused clinical team dedicated to high-quality, evidence-based care. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism in home or center-based settings Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans designed by a BCBACollect accurate, real-time data on behaviors and skill progress Follow treatment protocols including DTT, NET, and reinforcement procedures Communicate session updates and progress to supervisors and caregivers Maintain timely and thorough session notes and documentation Collaborate with BCBAs and clinical team during supervision and training Adhere to ethical and safety guidelines, including client dignity and confidentiality Required Skills Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation Behavior intervention plan (BIP) execution Data collection and progress monitoring Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Natural Environment Teaching (NET) Use of reinforcement strategies Basic functional behavior assessment support Parent/caregiver collaboration and communication Session documentation and reporting Basic crisis prevention and de-escalation
