Job Description Insight Global's client has been creating programs and services that have never existed here in Eastern New Mexico join us in creating a shift in behavioral health in the communities of Eastern New Mexico. As they continue to grow and expand their programs they are seeking new additions to their outpatient therapy department. A therapist's main responsibility is to provide the necessary care and support to help patients resolve and manage issues in their lives. Providing individual, family, couples counseling on a wide array of mental health and substance use issues. This position would be partially online therapy and partially in office. Skills and Requirements Conducting initial consultations to gather patient information Assessing patients' emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans to meet them Asking questions and listening to help patients explore their thoughts and feelings Leading patients through mental exercises and role-playing activities when beneficial Providing scheduled therapy, walk in crisis, and crisis support via phone related to mental health and substance use diagnoses and challenges. Providing referrals for additional care or services when required Maintaining detailed confidential records in accordance with agency policies and complete required outcomes protocols. Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related degree. Licensed within the State of New Mexico with LLCSW, LPCC, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT Experience with provision of crisis intervention, assessment, and diagnosis. (training provided)
