Why 4 Directions We were founded in 2020 by two New Mexico social workers. Both are NMSU graduates and mothers, and they built the practice they wanted to work in: one that heals the whole person and honors where our clients come from. Our mission is to be a preferred provider of integrative mental health services in the Southwest by combining modern, evidence-informed care with cultural humility, whole-person wellness, and respect for the traditions and lived experiences of the people we serve. Our vision is to set a trusted standard for behavioral health care, where people experience clinical excellence, meaningful choice, responsive service, and genuine human connection. In practice, that means: Whole-person care. We treat mind, body, and spirit. Evidence-informed therapies like EMDR, CBT, and DBT sit alongside deeply meaningful somatic work and holistic self-care.
