Flexible (1099 Independent Contractor)
Location:
Onsite Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled BIS Parent Trainer to work directly with parents and guardians, providing guidance and behavioral strategies to support their child's growth and development. The Parent Trainer will implement training sessions based on goals outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the unique needs of the family. Responsibilities Work directly with parents/guardians to provide targeted behavior support strategies. Deliver support tailored to the specific needs of the family and home environment. Conduct sessions that may include review of strategies, modeling techniques, and providing guidance for consistent implementation. Follow a plan based on IEP goals and the individualized needs of the student. Fulfill mandates outlined in the IEP as determined by the CSE (Committee on Special Education) team. Maintain clear, objective documentation after each session to record progress and recommendations. Collaborate with families, school teams, and supervisors to ensure a unified approach to student support. Complete detailed, objective session notes after each session documenting student progress toward IEP goals and behavior plan targets. Qualifications Master's degree in one of the following (or a closely related field): Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Special Education Psychology Masters Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) + ABA Work Experience•Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities and their families preferred. Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with ABA principles or behavioral intervention strategies is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

$40.00•$55.00 per hour
