Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to clients, utilizing a variety of techniques and approaches tailored to individual needs. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health issues, behavior management, and the ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations. The Psychotherapist will work in a clinical setting, focusing on enhancing the emotional well-being of clients through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with diverse backgrounds and needs. Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health conditions and develop treatment plans. Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques as appropriate. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies. Address gender issues counseling as part of a holistic approach to therapy. Utilize creative therapeutic methods such as dance therapy when beneficial for client engagement. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including social workers, to provide comprehensive care. Stay informed about current best practices in psychotherapy and mental health treatment. Requirements Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent credential in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of ICD-9 coding for diagnostic purposes. Experience in clinic settings preferred, with familiarity in behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Understanding of gender issues and their impact on mental health is highly desirable.
