Job Description

Saratoga Center for the Family, a non-profit with our main offices located in Saratoga Springs, has an exciting opportunity for self-motivated and committed therapists in our school based program at Waterford-Halfmoon School District. This is a 10 month position that follows the school based calendar, mirroring the school schedule with some additional afternoon appointments for parents; as well as 25 days of employment during the summer school vacation. Client base presents with a variety of concerns including victims of abuse and violence, trauma, families with parenting concerns, general anxiety and depression and behavioral problems. Experience with treatment of trauma, sexual abuse, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and School based Mental Health experience preferred. This role supports students and their families, as an employee of Saratoga Center for the Family in a school based position, fulfilling the following responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and family psychotherapy
  • Be responsible for initial mental health evaluations
  • Collaboration with families, school staff, and outside providers

Requirements:
Valid New York State License to practice Mental Health Therapy
LCSW-R, LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMFT
Only licensed clinicians will be considered
Job Type:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
