Job Description
Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Therapist to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Athens, OH. As a Therapist , you will provide quality, person and family-centered, medically necessary, rehabilitative, culturally-competent therapy face-to-face with individuals, couples, families, and groups to include, but not limited to: diagnostic assessment and treatment of mental, emotional, and substance abuse disorders. These services will be provided through the Athens outpatient clinic or on behalf of the clinic to patients on the Crisis Stabilization Unit. •This position is Monday-Friday; NO weekends What do we look for in our Licensed Therapists?? Eligible to work in the United Stated Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related field (social work, mental health counseling, etc.). Master's Degree preferred. Current licensure by the Ohio CSWMFT Board is preferred, such as LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LIMFT, or Psychologist. Clinical experience is a mental health counseling/therapist position is preferred Additional specialty training is preferred (Addictions, Crisis, De-escalation, sexual abuse treatment, trauma skills, etc.) is preferred Ability and willingness to learn and utilize physical interventions in the event that a youth displays an imminent danger to themselves or others, through attendance of and techniques learned in, Disruptive Behavior Management Training (DBMT). A valid driver's license, good driving record, and vehicle suitable for transportation.
