Mahajan Therapeutics seeks a Mental Health Therapist to provide evidence-based counseling for adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. In this role, you will complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy within outpatient and community-based programs. Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients with mental health and substance use disorders Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based interventions aligned with best-practice clinical standards Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and peer supporters on coordinated care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations and payer standards Participate in case conferences, supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings Engage families and support systems in treatment and recovery planning when appropriate Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and community outreach initiatives Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate referrals to higher or lower levels of care Uphold ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practices with all clients Required Skills Diagnostic assessment and clinical formulation Treatment planning for mental health and substance use disorders Individual and group psychotherapy Family and couples counseling Crisis intervention and risk assessment Evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care) Co-occurring disorders treatment Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Interdisciplinary team collaboration Cultural competence and trauma-informed care
