Prior experience as a Case Manager or Behavioral Health Technician is a plus. This is a great position for someone with a BSW/LSW or MSW/LSW or MA/LPC who wants to get experience and attain their independent license! We offer free license supervision hours and continuing education credits. Position Responsibilities for Mental Health/Counselor Provide expertise in utilizing therapeutic techniques appropriate for each client's needs, including Brief Solution Focused Therapy and other best or evidence-based practices Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy as dictated by the client's needs Knowledge of the spectrum of mental illness, symptomology, psychotropic medication, and problems presented in adjusting to life cycle changes. Diagnose appropriately using DSM 5.
