Part-time, Full-time Summary:
The Marriage and Family Therapist operates as a generalist to serve all age ranges and populations. The Marriage and Family Therapist role specializes in couples/relational therapy, reports to a Clinical Supervisor, and works closely with them to ensure client needs are met and that the health record is complete and accurate. Therapists provide diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and psychotherapy to clients. Openings in our London, OH location.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of clients (any ages) that allows for billable hours commensurate to full or part-time schedule. Perform initial and ongoing assessments based on diagnostic changes, insurance requirements, and agency procedures. Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans for clients and update as appropriate. Assess safety concerns regularly and create safety plans with clients, as necessary and appropriate. Complete referrals, transfers, and discharges based on client level of care and current need(s). Ensure all health records and other documentation are current and within state and federal laws, as well as all policies and regulations specific to their license. Coordinate with referral sources and other organizations to ensure consistency of care across services. Plan and manage weekly schedule and productivity requirements. Communicate with clients and their families as needed

Maintain Marriage and Family Therapy license for duration of position.
Qualifications:
Required
  • Master's Degree, or, actively enrolled in a related Master's program (Marriage and Family Therapy). Required
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist/ Intern 1 or more years of counseling experience.
Experience with public health, health plans, state agency mental health centers, or federally qualified healthcare. Valid driver's license and unrestricted.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Google Workspace, including Google Meet, Email, and Chat Video platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, and others Excellent written and verbal communication skills Data analysis, including but not limited to health records Ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team Maintain high level of confidentiality Group presentation and public speaking Benefits, dependent on Part/Full-time schedule: Simple IRA and matching after eligibility is met Flexibility in scheduling Weekly training/work supervision provided by a licensed IMFT-S Private office space, with personalized space arrangement for Full-time Therapists Administrative support for scheduling, billing, and credentialing Potential for bonus pay structures, including but not limited to additional productivity benefit
Schedule:
Administrative support 8:00am-6:00pm Monday-Thursday. Therapist schedules vary. After school hours and/or weekend availability required.
