Now offering a $3,000 sign on bonus!!! Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Outpatient Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with diverse populations. The therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. Duties Under general supervision, the Mental Health Outpatient Therapist will provide intervention, diagnostic assessments and counseling services at Catalyst Life Services in Mansfield, Ohio. Must be able to communicate effectively in written and oral form. Must recognize unusual or threatening situations and identify indicators of abuse, neglect and family dysfunction and determine appropriate treatment or referral.
Qualifications include:
a minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work or social science field; Ohio licensure (LSW, PC, MFT) required with independent licensure (LISW, PCC, or IMFT) preferred. Must have minimum of one year relevant clinical experience. Must have current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record, current vehicle insurance and provide own transportation to offsite locations.Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field. Masters level preferred.Licensure Requirement:
Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Professional Counselor (LPC) or Marriage and Family Therapist (independent licensure preferred-LISW, LPCC, IMFT) Pre-employment substance abuse test and background check with favorable results is required.
