Job Description

Wyandot Counseling Associates is seeking an outpatient therapist for provision of substance use and mental health counseling services in the office environment. Office based clients can include children, adolescents, adults, families and couples, depending on provider competencies. Substance use counseling provision is a requirement of this job. Qualifications Superb written and spoken communication skills Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize responsibilities Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information Self-directed, self-motivated and dedicated to helping others Required licensure: LISW or LPCC with LICDC Responsibilities Provide clinical services such as diagnostic assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention services and chemical dependency counseling Maintain accurate and complete clinical records including diagnostic assessments, crisis and safety plans, treatment plans, service notes and transition and discharge plans in a timely/accurate manner Collaborate and coordinate with community providers, court staff, members of support systems, etc.
