Job Overview Seeking a compassionate, motivated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing behavioral health team in Northwest Ohio. In this role, you'll provide individual and group therapy, complete assessments and treatment planning, maintain clinical documentation, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care. Candidates must hold an active Ohio LSW or LPC license, possess strong clinical and communication skills, and have experience or interest in treating substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to support lasting recovery and mental wellness. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively while ensuring patient safety. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical research findings and best practices in behavioral health care. Maintain detailed documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy in terminology. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Engage in ongoing research and data collection to monitor treatment outcomes and improve service delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a licensed social worker (LSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or equivalent state credential. Proven experience working with adults in outpatient or inpatient settings Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral management, addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, psychopharmacology knowledge, and crisis management. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance. Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, social work practices, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms is preferred; knowledge of special education strategies for pediatric populations is a plus. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$29.52 - $35.55 per hour
