Mental Health Therapist - Diamondback Correctional Facility, Watonga, OK Join a leading facility in Watonga, Oklahoma, as a Mental Health Therapist and enjoy a rewarding opportunity to make a difference. Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel and other reimbursements when applicable, robust referral bonus program, and 24/7 dedicated support team What You'll Do Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and review of records Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on client needs and progress Document all treatment activities accurately in health care records Provide crisis intervention and counseling tailored to inmate needs Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information at all times Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively in treatments Collaborate with facility staff to ensure comprehensive mental health support What You Need U.S. Citizenship for facility clearance (necessary, clearance takes approximately 3 weeks) Relevant mental health licensure or certification preferred Experience in mental health assessment, counseling, or related fields Strong communication, confidentiality, and crisis intervention skills About the Assignment This role involves providing critical mental health services within a correctional setting, supporting inmate well-being through assessments, treatment plans, counseling, and crisis interventions.
