Alliance Counseling Center / The Center at Heron Hill is seeking a compassionate, creative, and experienced Child & Family Therapist (QMHP) to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team on our beautiful 60-acre therapeutic farm in Canby, Oregon. Our approach combines evidence-based mental health treatment with opportunities for nature-based, experiential, animal-assisted, and outdoor interventions. Clinicians have access to traditional therapeutic spaces as well as trails, gardens, outdoor areas, and our therapeutic farm environment. We are looking for a therapist who genuinely enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families and who is interested in practicing in a setting that allows therapy to extend beyond the traditional office. The Position The Child & Family Therapist provides outpatient behavioral health assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and families experiencing a range of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and relational concerns. This position works collaboratively with our clinical team and may coordinate care with parents and caregivers, schools, medical providers, skills trainers, occupational therapy, and other community supports when appropriate. Depending upon clinical need, treatment may incorporate traditional psychotherapy as well as experiential and nature-based approaches. What You'll Do Provide individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents. Provide family and caregiver-supported interventions when clinically appropriate. Complete behavioral health assessments, treatment plans, and required clinical documentation. Develop individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment goals. Work collaboratively with parents and caregivers while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries and the child's clinical needs. Coordinate care with other members of the client's treatment team. Participate in clinical supervision, consultation, and team meetings. Maintain documentation and treatment plans in accordance with agency, payer, and Oregon requirements. Support children with emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, family transitions, social difficulties, neurodevelopmental differences, and other outpatient behavioral health needs. Incorporate experiential, outdoor, or nature-based interventions when appropriate to the clinician's training and the client's treatment plan. Maintain ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and neuro-affirming clinical practices. Value strong clinical boundaries, ethical practice, and high-quality documentation. Enjoy being part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience or training in play therapy, family systems, trauma treatment, attachment-based approaches, CBT, DBT-informed interventions, somatic approaches, neurodiversity-affirming care, ecotherapy, or animal-assisted therapy is welcomed but not required. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet Oregon requirements to practice as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and possess an appropriate graduate-level behavioral health degree.

Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) Licensed or registered associates working toward independent licensure Other master's-level clinicians who meet Oregon QMHP requirements Candidates must also be able to complete required credentialing, background checks, mandatory reporting requirements, and payer enrollment. Schedule This is primarily an in-person clinical position at our Canby therapeutic farm. The position is intended for a clinician seeking a consistent caseload while maintaining enough flexibility to provide thoughtful, individualized care to children and families. Specific schedule and weekly hours may be discussed during the interview process.
