Family Based Mental Health Worker Butler, PA 3 DAYS AGO 22537293 Summary Butler, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 1 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day, Evening Shift / Full-Time Description Primary Function To provide therapeutic mental health services to children/adolescents and their families in the home and community. The therapeutic model used in Family Based treatment is Structural/Ego-Systemic. Mental Health Worker will participate in a required training program that teaches this model. Family Based employees will learn, utilize and implement this model. Also provide to client's clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions and activities. Referrals will be provided for continuity of care during treatment and for discharge transitioning. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field. Responsibilities Provide clinical treatment for the client and family Develop, with the client, family and any other agency involved, the treatment goals and objectives Assist in the implementation of treatment plan Assist in developing a "team concept" with Behavioral Specialist Schedule monthly treatment plan meetings and coordinate with other agencies Responsible for required documentation for medical record Scheduling of appointments with family at the family's availability as needed for treatment with a minimum of 1 hour per week Responsible for productivity of team services Monitor and review charts on weekly basis Attend administrative meetings as required by agency Attend required trainings dictated by state regulations Work a 24-hour call schedule for department, scheduling according to client and family's needs and treatment needs Complete daily records and reports within 24 hours of service or duty completed Assist in coordination of agencies involved with client and family Have a current driver license to be able to transport client and families on activities and necessary appointments Have current act 33/34 clearances / FBI Criminal History Report Current Physical Examination within one year Proof of current car insurance Communicate effectively and professionally Attend and participate in clinical supervision as required by agency and state regulations Responsible for participation in Quality Management Plan Pursue continued educational opportunities Perform any related duties as requested Learn and implement the Structural/Ego Systemic model with clients Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of AAMFT Ethical Standards Develop goals and objectives for your professional growth and work with supervisor to achieve those goals and objectives Additional Details
