BRAND NEW FEMALE RESIDENTIAL FACILITY COMING TO CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP
~! We are seeking a Licensed Family Therapist - Residential Treatment to join us! Who We Are DTAC provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care for adolescents in residential treatment. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to support youth and families in achieving emotional and behavioral stability. We are seeking a skilled Family Therapist to join our clinical team and provide systemic, strategic, and culturally responsive therapy that promotes family engagement and long-term success. What You'll Do Provide family therapy and group counseling to assigned clients and their families Conduct clinical assessments and provide individualized diagnostic recommendations Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team Facilitate therapeutic and educational groups focused on family dynamics, life skills, problem-solving, and communication Develop and present psychoeducational seminars aligned with best practices Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including intake/discharge forms, assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports Present clinical information objectively to treatment team members, families, referral sources, and court personnel as requested Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of youth in placement Plan and participate in therapeutic, recreational, and educational activities using a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in ongoing supervision and professional development Who You Are Trauma-informed and skilled in systemic and strategic family therapy Experienced in evidence-based treatment modalities for children, adolescents, and their families Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary treatment team Professional, ethical, and a strong role model for clients and peers Organized and confident in documentation and clinical reporting
Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related clinical field Licensure /
Experience:
Active Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) license able to practice in Pennsylvania Licensed preferred Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) considered if experienced in family therapy Minimum of 3 years' experience in child/adolescent behavioral health services
Knowledge & Skills:
Comprehensive understanding of therapeutic approaches and modalities for children, adolescents, and families Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care Why Join DTAC?
