About Us At Sanare (pronounced sah nah ray), we believe behavioral health should go beyond maintenance and create space for real transformation. Authenticity is at the center of everything we do, and we encourage our team to bring creativity, compassion, and genuine human connection into their work every day. Whether you are supporting IOP, PHP, or outpatient programming, you will have the opportunity to create meaningful, experiential clinical experiences while working alongside a team committed to changing the narrative of mental health care. Join us in helping people rediscover the strength already within them. About the Position We are currently hiring an EMDR Trained Therapist to join our Trauma-Focused Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role is ideal for therapists who are passionate about group-based care and interested in supporting adults navigating complex trauma, PTSD, dissociation, and other mental health challenges. In this daytime Trauma-Focused IOP Therapist role, you'll facilitate trauma-focused group therapy sessions for adults (18+) three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.). You'll also provide individual trauma-informed and EMDR therapy sessions one day per week for each group member, with sessions typically occurring on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This role is meant to be an all-encompassing role including supervisory duties, intensive group, outpatient individual and consultations.
Trauma Supervisor Responsibilities:
Lead program-specific group supervision twice a month—open door policy included for any therapist who wants to grow.
Stay sharp:
keep expert-level knowledge of your program and what makes it work. Join our "supervision for supervisors" sessions to sharpen your leadership, stay in sync with organizational standards, and problem-solve with your peers. Be a sounding board between group supervisions—your team should feel like you've got their back, always. Support therapists as they onboard with Sanare—introduce yourself, share the program playbook, and walk them through your program's specific details. Provide feedback post chart-audits that helps therapists level up—not just for compliance, but for care that really lands. Handle yearly evaluations like a coach, not a critic—recognize growth and offer guidance. Be a walking example of the Sanare Way—holding the bar high in groups, individual sessions, and every interaction tied to a LOCA.
