Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and self-care skills Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols under supervision, ensuring fidelity to established care plans Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, to promote consistency and generalization of skills Engage in behavior management strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive behaviors Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with clients' families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially within applied behavior analysis or behavioral health settings Hands-on experience with direct behavioral therapy techniques for individuals on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and medical documentation standards Home-based behavioral experience is highly valued, demonstrating adaptability across environments Knowledge of special education practices and school experience supporting children with disabilities Understanding of ethical guidelines such as the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts is preferred Proven ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively while maintaining patient care standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about making a difference through evidence-based practices.
