CURRENTLY HIRING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST - SPECIALIZING WITH CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Job Overview; Come work at Citywide Community Counseling Services, Inc., a leading company in our industry of the Philadelphia area. We are looking to hire experienced Mental Health Therapists specializing with children to help us keep growing. If you are hard-working and dedicated, Citywide is an ideal place to get ahead. Mental health therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload for adults and children, couples and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. A Therapist is deeply familiar with other services and resources within the community and work closely with them to provide information and support when required. Mental health therapists are currently offered a fee for service pay and services are provided via telehealth
Requirements:
A Master degree in Social Work and a LSW or a Master degree in Psychology with a deep compassionate , excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities for Mental Health Therapist Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment. Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities. Plan and conduct interventions to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling services. Assess clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with Psychiatrist. Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations. Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge. Qualifications for Mental Health Therapist 2+ years experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from children to adults. Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment with this agency. Ability to work as a team member and cooperatively. Must be able to work flexible work schedule including evenings, via telehealth. Superb organizational skills, with ability to guide, direct, or influence people. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families. Salary/ Benefits:
To be discussed during Interview. Fee-for-Service. 1099 employee. Schedules are from Mondays thru Saturdays.
