The Behavioral Consultant (BC) provides behavioral support and intervention to children, youth and families in the home, school, daycare, and community settings.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain client caseload and utilization of hours Collect and analyze data to determine treatment progress Consult with members of client's team Lead team meetings and overall clinical treatment needs for client Develop and monitor individualized intervention, treatment and crisis plans Electronic paperwork submission Conduct behavioral assessments to guide the treatment planning process including development of behavior modification programs for each assigned child. Act as a consultant with team members involved with service provision for client. Instruct and support parents and caregivers in implementing behavior modification programs. Provide oversight and feedback to BHT as needed regarding delivery of services. Identify behavioral goals and intervention techniques, recommends non-aversive behavioral change methods, and models interventions for the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and parents/caregivers. Attend and complete mandatory trainings. Provide clinical oversight of BHT staff and supervisions.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be licensed in PA as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified nurse practitioner, or professional with scope of practice that includes overseeing ABA services AND have one: a) BCaBA b) 1-year full-time ABA experience and minimum 12 credits in ABA c) 1-year full time ABA experience under supervision of a BCBA and a minimum of 40 training hours related to
