Clinical Director Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed EMDR Therapist to provide trauma-informed psychotherapy to individuals experiencing the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and related mental health concerns. The ideal candidate is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and is committed to delivering ethical, evidence-based care within a collaborative clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide EMDR therapy in accordance with established protocols and best practices. Deliver individual psychotherapy using trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions. Assess and monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically indicated. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards. Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, schools, and other healthcare professionals as appropriate. Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans when necessary. Educate clients and families about trauma, recovery, and treatment options. Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, and professional development activities. Maintain compliance with licensing board regulations, HIPAA requirements, and agency policies. Required Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Current, unrestricted state licensure (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD, or Psychologist). Completion of an approved EMDR Basic Training program. Experience providing trauma-focused psychotherapy. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications EMDRIA Certification or Consultant status. Experience treating PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, anxiety disorders, and attachment-related concerns. Training in complementary evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), or Somatic therapies. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or veterans (depending on practice population). Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
