•Clinician•Child and Adolescent West Chester, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22530622 Summary West Chester, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 1 Years Experience Master's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description Devereux Children's Behavioral Health Center (DCBHC), located in Malvern, PA, provides programs and services for children and adolescents who are experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis within a safe and compassionate inpatient environment. The team is currently seeking a Full-Time Clinician to provide the coordination and delivery of clinical services to include family and individual therapy for assigned individuals. In this role you will maintain a caseload of 6 individuals and provide therapy, support with aftercare recommendations, along with insurance reviews.

Unlicensed annual salary of $54,000•$61,560 and licensed annual salary of $56,637•$64,566.18 (dependent upon experience). Every day as a Clinician you will... Provide and/or coordinate the delivery of non-medical therapeutic services to patients in an acute care setting utilizing assessments, and individual, group and family therapy. Conduct strength based bio-psychosocial and need oriented assessment of current family/guardian system, develop treatment plan and follow up on progress Enter authorizations into Profiler within 24hr of obtaining them and follow up with all appeals Serve as the voice of treatment with all formal and informal communication with the team Coordinate discharge planning and assigned liaison activities between families, agencies, and the treatment team to insure the highest standard of participation and the best practice of service delivery

Qualifications Education:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or other related Human Service Discipline. Licensed or licensure track preferred. Clinical Internship and one year relevant experience working with children and adolescents in a residential setting required. Proficient computer skills and a working knowledge of software programs (i.e. Microsoft word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).

Experience:

Previous clinical experience in a behavioral health-care setting, particularly in an acute care setting, preferred.

Experience in evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, functional assessment and behavioral interventions are preferred.
