Immediate opening About Inner Sanctuary Therapy Inner Sanctuary Therapy is a private practice rooted in trauma-informed care, including EMDR and somatic-based therapies. Our work centers on sitting with clients — not just treating symptoms, but being present with their lived experience. We hold space for authentic presence and intentional therapeutic relationship, honoring each client's wounds and traumatic history while providing care that is ethical and grounded firmly within scope of practice. We believe healing happens in relationship, and we're looking for a clinician who shares that philosophy. Position Overview We're seeking an Associate Therapist to join our team — someone drawn to trauma-informed, somatic-based work who is either already trained in modalities like EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems) , or eager to pursue training in these areas. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants more than just a caseload — you'll be supported in learning how to build and sustain a private-practice career long-term. This position is especially well-suited to someone post-licensure who wants to grow their own practice and learn the business side of clinical work: how to market yourself, build and maintain a caseload, attract your own clients, and eventually work independently, all while receiving ongoing support through individual and group supervision. This role is best suited for someone who is ready to work independently and with autonomy, you'll be building and managing your own caseload on your own terms, with supervision provided for support, not day-to-day oversight. What You'll Learn & Be Supported In Building and maintaining a sustainable caseload Marketing yourself and attracting your own client base Working independently while staying connected through supervision Individual supervision Applying trauma-informed and somatic modalities in practice Ideal Candidate Must have an active AMFT number Genuine interest in trauma-informed, somatic-based therapy Trained in EMDR and/or IFS, or strong interest in pursuing training in these modalities Motivated to grow a private-practice career post-licensure Comfortable sitting with clients' trauma histories while maintaining clear ethical boundaries and scope of practice Ready and able to work independently and with autonomy; supervision is provided for support, not day-to-day oversight Caseload & Compensation Target caseload: 12-15 clients
