Full-Time | Hybrid | In-Person & Virtual We are looking for a full-time AMFT to provide therapy services across three behavioral health programs: two detox/residential programs and one virtual outpatient program . This position is specifically focused on therapy and clinical documentation . The therapist will not be responsible for case management, discharge planning, or program operations. Primary Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy sessions Complete therapy progress notes accurately and on time Provide therapy to clients in detox and residential settings Conduct virtual therapy sessions for outpatient clients Address mental health, substance use, trauma, and co-occurring concerns within therapy Identify and appropriately address crisis or safety concerns , including SI/HI or other clinical risks Communicate significant safety concerns to the appropriate clinical team/leadership Maintain appropriate clinical boundaries and confidentiality Collaborate with the treatment team when clinically necessary Qualifications Current California AMFT registration in good standing Master's degree in a qualifying behavioral health field SUD and mental health experience preferred Comfortable working with detox/residential populations Comfortable providing telehealth therapy Strong therapy documentation skills Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to crisis and safety concerns Reliable transportation between Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley Dependable, organized, and able to manage therapy sessions and documentation independently Position Structure This is a hybrid position consisting of in-person therapy at our Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley detox/residential locations and virtual therapy for our outpatient program. The primary focus of this position is simple: provide quality therapy, complete quality therapy notes, and appropriately address and communicate any clinical or safety concerns that arise during sessions.
