Bilingual Therapist La Verdad Therapy Chula Vista, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time 18 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Paid sick time Qualifications Spanish Licensed Clinical Social Worker English Working with children Telehealth therapy Full Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced bilingual Spanish Licensed Therapist and/or intern to provide a mix of Telehealth and face-to-face sessions. We're looking for therapists to see patients on a pay-per-encounter basis at our private practice and skilled nursing facility. Our pay-per-encounter model is a W2 position while offering a unique opportunity of flexibility. Our providers love that this gives them the ability to determine when they will see patients with the stability of a W2 position. Your primary responsibility will be conducting counseling therapy in hybrid sessions in a private practice setting, and asses, diagnose, and treat clients at the skilled nursing facility. Create comprehensive patient assessments and aid in treatment planning. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Complete any progress notes or documentation in compliance with clinical, state and insurance requirements. Aid patients in community referral sources when needed. Participate in clinical case review with the Lead Psychologist weekly. La Verdad Therapy is based in downtown Chula Vista and services all of San Diego county. Required Qualifications:

All eligible candidates must have one of following independent licenses in

California:

LMFT/LCSW/LPCC

License eligible/interns

Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced in working with various age groups-open to seeing couples and children (we provide support) Experience treating patients with PTSD using Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Strong communication skills, written and verbal Flexibility and dependability

Responsibility:

We are seeking clinicians that are willing to see a minimum of 25-30 sessions per week. Open to see any age group. Self-motivated, self-guided, and determined. We have a diverse population of clients and are seeking someone who is well educated in diversity. This position is a hybrid position meaning you can work remotely in California, but some in person sessions/days are needed. The schedule is flexible but in person sessions/days must be between Mon-Friday 7am-8pm or Saturdays and Sundays any time.
