Job Description
Job Overview Talk Therapy OC is a community-focused outpatient mental health clinic. We're passionate about providing services to clients with a broad range of racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. To this end, we work extensively with MediCal health plans throughout the state of California. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups across diverse populations. Join us in creating a supportive environment where clients can thrive and achieve their goals. Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for clients across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults Deliver individual, group, family, and couples counseling utilizing your preferred theoretical orientation(s). Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with community resources, schools, hospitals, and other healthcare providers Collect and document clinical data accurately within electronic medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards Provide specialized services including working with individuals with depression, anxiety, stage of life concerns, identity-related concerns, and much more. Set you own hours. We allow fully remote clinicians and also have availability in both of our clinic location for in-person services. Qualifications Valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent licensure recognized by the state licensing board Strong background working with children, adolescents, adults, and/or families in clinical settings Familiarity with HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Excellent communication skills for effective patient care coordination and documentation Optional Components Our clinic is passionate about providing excellent training to the next generation of therapists. We employ many associate therapists and welcome clinicians who are interested in providing clinical supervision.
