Job Description
About our Practice Time For A Change Counseling is a trauma informed group practice specializing in children and families navigating behavioral crisis, big emotions, and the effects of trauma. We are growing, and we are looking for a fully licensed clinician who wants to do meaningful work with the support of a practice that understands the field from the inside out. About the Role This is a full time W2 position for a mental health professional who holds is independently licensed in Mississippi (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). You will carry a caseload of individual clients and have the opportunity to lead therapeutic groups for children. This role is credentialed with insurance panels, giving you access to a steady referral base rather than relying solely on self pay. What You'll Do Provide individual trauma informed therapy to children and families Facilitate therapeutic groups, six to eight week series focused on emotional regulation and behavioral support Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain timely, compliant clinical documentation Collaborate with our team on case consultation and client care Represent the practice's values and clinical approach in the community What We're Looking For Active, unrestricted licensure in Mississippi (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) Experience working with children, adolescents, or families, trauma informed background strongly preferred Comfort with both individual and group therapeutic formats Strong documentation and time management skills Alignment with a compassionate, practical, non judgmental approach to care RPT or interest in play therapy is a plus but not required Benefits Insurance credentialing support provided Professional development and continuing education support Paid time off for birthday Opportunity to grow within the practice as we expand, including potential involvement in our training Schedule Full time, in office, Brookhaven location.
