We are seeking a compassionate therapist who wants to provide trauma-informed care while working as part of a genuinely collaborative team. Our therapists work alongside fellow clinicians and Family Peer Support Workers to combine clinical expertise, lived experience, advocacy, and family-centered support. A full caseload may not be available immediately. We support clinicians in building their caseload through agency referrals, community partnerships, outreach, and marketing. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and caregiver therapy to children, adolescents, and adults Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation Provide services in accordance with Medicaid, agency, ethical, and licensing-board standards Use trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions Collaborate with clinicians and Family Peer Support Workers to provide coordinated, family-centered care Participate in supervision, consultation, and team meetings Provide both in-person and telehealth services Support families navigating behavioral-health and community systems Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, art therapy, or a related behavioral-health field Current New Mexico behavioral-health license, or eligibility to obtain one before beginning employment Eligible licenses may include LMHC, LMSW, LMFT, LMAT, LPAT, LPCC, or LCSW Interest in working with children, caregivers, and families Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Commitment to trauma-informed, family-centered care Ability to work independently while participating in a collaborative team If you are looking for more than another therapy job—and want to help children and families heal together—we would love to meet you.
