For over 65 years, we have supported families through culturally responsive, attachment-focused, and developmentally appropriate services for children with and without special needs. Position Summary Under general supervision of the Mental Health Director and Clinical Supervisor this position provides home•and clinic-based infant/child-parent psychotherapy and clinical case management services to children from birth to six years old and their parents/caregivers. Being able to communicate with families proficiently in both English and Spanish is a requirement for this position. : $40•42/hour Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide Behavioral Support and/or IHBS services to children and families involved in, or at risk of, foster care placement. Deliver individualized, strengths-based, and needs-driven interventions in home, school, community, and other natural settings. Partner with caregivers to identify strengths, develop goals, and implement effective behavioral strategies that support positive outcomes across environments. Provide coaching, modeling, skill-building, and reflective support to children and caregivers, focusing on emotional regulation, communication, social skills, problem-solving, adaptive functioning, and positive behavior development. Conduct regular face-to-face visits and collateral contacts with caregivers and other identified supports. Support children and families in achieving treatment plan goals through creative, flexible, and family-centered interventions. Collaborate with Child and Family Teams (CFTs), ICC Coordinators, Wraparound teams, clinicians, schools, preschool programs, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care. Participate in CFTs, treatment meetings, and other team meetings as appropriate. Provide advocacy, linkage, and case management support to promote family stability and access to resources. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with State, County, and We Care requirements. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with families, team members, and community partners. Perform other duties as assigned by the Mental Health Director. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in: Social Work, Counseling or Clinical Psychology. Licensed, or License Eligible MFT, LCSW, PhD or PsyD. Previous clinical (mental health) experience working with children and families in multicultural communities. Must have Spanish language fluency, and have experience conducting clinical work in Spanish. Valid California driver's license, auto insurance and car. Must be able to conduct telehealth sessions from a private space as needed and participate in a hybrid work schedule, including a minimum of three days per week onsite or as assigned. Employees may elect to work fully onsite if preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development and mental health and the ability to apply this knowledge to relationship based infant/child parent-psychotherapy. Clinical experience providing trauma-informed services to young children and their families. Ability to accurately form diagnostic assessments of the mental health needs of young children, and to work under pressure of crisis situations at times. Ability to establish and sustain therapeutic alliance with young children and family members of diverse cultural backgrounds, with a commitment to cultural sensitivity and awareness. Ability to exercise good judgment and work independently on a day-today basis clinically, legally and ethically, and to consult with supervisor when appropriate. Must have working knowledge of all laws pertaining to mental health in general and child abuse in particular and be able to apply them in everyday practice. Prior home•or community-based clinical experience is a plus. Some experience with providing clinical services via telehealth would be very helpful. Working Conditions This position requires travel throughout the community, including providing services in children's homes and other community-based settings. Must have reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license, and maintain current automobile insurance.
