Job Description
Court-Involved Family Therapist (LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC, LMSW) The Holistic Hive | Salisbury, Maryland & Maryland Eastern Shore Full-Time | Part-Time | Hybrid Opportunities Available Join a team providing specialized clinical services where mental health and the family court system intersect. The Holistic Hive is seeking experienced clinicians to provide specialized therapeutic services for children, parents, and families involved in custody disputes, child welfare matters, and other court-related proceedings. This position is ideal for clinicians who enjoy complex clinical work, value objectivity, and want to make a meaningful impact with families navigating significant life transitions. Our clinicians collaborate with attorneys, guardians ad litem, social service agencies, and other professionals while maintaining the highest standards of ethical and trauma-informed practice. Position Responsibilities Clinicians may provide a combination of services including: Individual therapy for children and adolescents Parent support and coaching Family therapy Court-referred reunification services Trauma-informed therapeutic interventions Clinical assessments Comprehensive treatment documentation suitable for legal proceedings Collaboration with multidisciplinary professionals Participation in case consultation and treatment planning Depending on experience and training, clinicians may also participate in: Parenting capacity assessments Family functioning assessments Mental injury evaluations Reunification readiness assessments Other specialized forensic behavioral health services Ideal Candidate We're looking for clinicians who: Remain calm and objective in high-conflict situations Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment Write thorough, organized documentation Communicate effectively with multiple professionals Understand child development and family systems Can balance empathy with professional neutrality Value collaboration and lifelong learning Minimum Qualifications Required Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field Maryland clinical license or license eligibility (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, or equivalent) Experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, or families Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational skills Preferred Experience with court-involved families Child welfare or family preservation experience Trauma-focused treatment experience Training in attachment-based interventions, EMDR, or other trauma modalities Experience collaborating with attorneys, schools, DSS, or other community agencies Bilingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole Why Join The Holistic Hive?
