Work Environment This role is based in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth technology to reach clients where they are most comfortable. You will have flexible work hours, with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Our telehealth capability not only streamlines access for clients but also promotes a healthy work-life balance for therapists. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status, focusing on the severity and impact of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass their unique needs, personal goals, and preferences. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective intervention strategies. Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, outlining treatment options and promoting practical self-care strategies. Track and monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes. Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver a seamless and integrated care experience. Stay informed on current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, applying this knowledge to enhance client care. Ensure meticulous documentation of all clinical interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal and ethical standards. Participate in case consultations and team meetings to strengthen clinical skills and contribute to best practices in the treatment of mood disorders. Advocate effectively for clients, helping to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring their voices are heard in the treatment process. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with individuals diagnosed with mood disorders, providing compassionate care tailored to their unique experiences. Our clients range from adolescents to seniors, each facing distinct challenges related to mental health. As a vital member of our team, you will empower clients from diverse backgrounds to navigate their mental health journeys through your therapeutic expertise. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, specifically in the treatment of mood disorders. Expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT. Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals for comprehensive client care. Demonstrated success and a record of effective outcomes in managing mood disorders. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Preferred Experience We seek candidates who not only possess the necessary qualifications but also have a track record of success in engaging clients successfully in their therapeutic journeys. Experience in providing telehealth services is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 80,000
