Work Environment This position allows for a hybrid work model, where therapists can choose to conduct sessions remotely or in-person at our outpatient office, based in the beautiful coastal city of Corpus Christi. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology to facilitate telehealth services, ensuring that therapists can provide seamless care to their clients. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, fostering a warm and supportive environment conducive to healing. Diagnose mental health disorders and devise appropriate treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Conduct individual, group, and couples therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based techniques and methodologies. Regularly assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, including consultations and referrals to specialists when appropriate. Educate clients on coping strategies and skills to manage their mental health challenges effectively. Patient Population / Client Focus As an LMFT at Uptown Behavioral Therapy and Wellness, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Our holistic approach caters to various demographics and backgrounds, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of those seeking support. By participating in both individual and couple sessions, you will address a wide range of mental health concerns while promoting emotional resilience. Qualifications Current and valid LMFT license in the State of Texas. A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. Strong understanding of therapeutic frameworks and evidence-based techniques in mental health treatment. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds. Preferred Experience Experience in addiction therapy and familiarity with treatment methods for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent care and sensitivity to individual client needs. Proficient in the use of telehealth platforms and digital health tools to enhance client engagement. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this role ranges from
USD 80,000
to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
