Work Environment This position is entirely remote, promoting flexibility and work-life balance. Our team operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a structured routine while focusing on delivering high-quality mental health care. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, sharing knowledge and insights to enhance client outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders, documenting the severity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms to inform treatment plans. Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences, fostering a client-centered approach to therapy. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and treat mood disorders effectively. Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders and stress the importance of self-care and treatment adherence. Monitor client progress meticulously throughout treatment, adjusting care strategies to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to facilitate an integrated care model. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder interventions, integrating new knowledge into practice. Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance clinical skills and share best practices. Act as a client advocate, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting awareness of available resources. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related challenges. You will work with a diverse clientele, requiring a nuanced understanding of each individual's cultural and personal context to craft engaging therapeutic interventions. Qualifications A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential. Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required. Proven expertise in evidence-based therapies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the collaborative skills necessary for effective teamwork with psychiatrists. Excellent communication abilities that promote rapport and trust-building with clients from varied backgrounds. Preferred Experience Hands-on experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, particularly within community health clinics. A track record of successful outcomes in treating individuals with mood disorders. Engagement in ongoing professional development, with an appetite for learning new therapeutic approaches.
