You will work closely with a team of multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals who are equally committed to fostering mental health awareness and robust patient support systems. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs through interviews, evaluations, and diagnostic testing as necessary. Develop personalized treatment plans based on specific assessments to address trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Implement solution-focused therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and other constructive methodologies. Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential clinical records, adhering strictly to HIPAA guidelines. Engage in regular collaborative sessions with the treatment team to discuss client progress and adapt treatment plans based on evolving needs. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay informed of the latest research and best practices in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary focus of your work as an LMSW will be with diverse populations, including military personnel, veterans, and their families at Nellis Air Force Base. Many clients may be facing unique challenges associated with military life, such as PTSD, reintegration issues, and anxiety related to deployments. Your expertise will help clients navigate their emotional responses and develop effective coping strategies. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required. An active Licensed Mental Health Therapist license (LMSW) in the state of Nevada is essential. Strong communication skills with a focus on empathy and active listening are vital. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, contributing positively to client care and organizational goals. Preferred Experience We require candidates to have a minimum of 2 years of post-master's experience in a clinical setting, ideally working with trauma, anxiety, and depression cases.
