Role Be Well:
Mind & Brain is seeking a motivated, independently-licensed mental health clinician to join our growing Lexington office. We are a specialized, evidence-based psychological practice providing targeted treatment for OCD, anxiety-related disorders, and trauma. If you are looking for the autonomy of private practice combined with the collaboration, administrative support, and referral stream of a collegial team, we would love to connect with you. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a conscientious, caring, and collaborative clinician. While an enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents is an ideal asset, it is not a strict requirement. For those seeking a full-time role, a mix of client demographics may be expected.
Clinical Background:
Prior training or experience in evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, ERP, or ACT is required. Specific training in OCD or exposure-based work is a strong plus, but not required—we commonly provide specialized clinical training and mentorship in these areas.
Licensure:
Independent licensure in Kentucky as a Psychologist (PhD/PsyD), LPP, or LCSW. (
Note:
We are unable to consider license-eligible candidates or those requiring clinical supervision at this time).
Experience:
At least a master's degree in your field plus two years of relevant clinical experience, with an interest or background in treating pediatric populations considered a strong bonus. The Role & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and design individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide high-quality individual therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities. Maintain an active caseload tailored to your areas of clinical focus. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and adhere to strict HIPAA and clinic privacy standards. Actively participate in weekly consultation treatment teams and monthly internal didactics.
Position Details Schedule:
Part-time or full-time with flexible daily scheduling. We are seeking providers with availability at least three days per week.
Modality:
Primarily in-person therapy at our Lexington office, with hybrid telehealth opportunities.
Start Date:
November (flexible for the right candidate).
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive W-2 commission-based structure. Because we handle billing and overhead, your earning potential is high without the isolation of solo practice. 3% retirement match Comprehensive malpractice insurance coverage Part-time administrative support
What We Offer You Administrative Support:
Our dedicated administrative team manages all patient billing, collections, superbills, waitlist management, initial screening calls, and appointment scheduling so you can focus entirely on clinical care.
A Collaborative Culture:
Enjoy built-in peer support through weekly case consultations, treatment team staffings, and monthly didactics with a team of friendly psychologists and students.
Resources & Growth:
Gain access to a comprehensive digital library of treatment manuals, workbooks, handouts, and peer-reviewed journals. Our senior team is dedicated to supporting your professional development and helping you build a specialized niche.
Tranquil Furnished Workspace:
Practice in a beautiful, quiet, tree-lined office park conveniently located off of Nicholasville Rd. in Lexington, filled with natural light and plants.
