  • Full-time, Contract Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) Team Lead to join our dedicated behavioral health team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team providing intensive, family-centered support to children and their families facing complex mental health, developmental, and behavioral challenges. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based interventions that promote stability, resilience, and positive outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of clinicians, case managers, and support staff delivering intensive family intervention services. Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing techniques such as behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and trauma-informed care. Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs related to mental health, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or trauma. Oversee the implementation of therapeutic interventions including child & family counseling, crisis management, and addiction counseling. Coordinate care with community resources, schools, medical providers, and social services to ensure holistic support for families. Maintain detailed medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while accurately capturing patient care activities. Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in conflict management, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies. Utilize data collection methods to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and improve service delivery continuously. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification preferred. Proven experience working with individuals with mental health conditions. Strong knowledge of motivational interviewing techniques and applied behavior analysis principles. Experience in crisis intervention, conflict management, and case management within home & community care settings. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and records management under HIPAA guidelines. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex cases effectively. Demonstrated competence in behavioral health therapies such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy or PTSD care is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines while maintaining a client-centered approach focused on family strengths and goals.
