Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Couples Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship counseling and be adept at working with couples to address and resolve conflicts, improve communication, and strengthen their relationships. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of couples within the Anchorage community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide counseling services to couples experiencing a variety of relationship issues. Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate positive changes. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Stay current with developments in the field through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or a related field. State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist in Alaska. Proven experience in couples counseling. Strong understanding of relationship dynamics and conflict resolution strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Top-Tier Compensation:
$110.00 per billable client hour. Major Responsibilities Provide high-quality, ethical, and culturally competent outpatient therapy to individuals and families. Maintain clinical documentation within the EHR (recommended daily, required within 72 hours). Actively participate as a positive member of the clinical team and engage in case consultation. Stay current with couples therapy research, best practices, and community referral sources. Maintain good standing with licensing boards and insurance entities.

$800 annual CEU reimbursement, plus Brainspotting Phase 1 & 2 trainings available locally.

Full Administrative Support:
We handle the business side—website, EHR (SimplePractice), scheduling, billing, and social media/mail marketing to our established referral network.
