Job Summary California licensed therapist (LMFT, PsyD. or Ph. D) will provide direct mental health services to client's in a private practice setting. This may include, but is not limited to individuals, couples, families, and children. Major Tasks Provide comprehensive appropriate therapeutic services for assigned clients. Assist in maintaining all clinical charts including but not limited to Treatment Plans, Diagnosis, Progress Notes, and Discharge Summaries. Maintaining contract authorizations Assist in assessing client's needs, strengths, and level of functioning. Consult with designated licensed supervisor regarding assessment and treatment of clients. Consult with collaborative partners in the best interest of each client, as necessary and appropriate (i.e. County Social Workers, psychiatrist, health care professionals, school staff, Regional Center service providers, etc.). Consult and communicate with the client's natural support system, as appropriate. Participate in group supervision, if needed. Ability to maintain daily / weekly schedule to ensure client's needs are met. Abides by the California / BBS Code of Ethics Performs other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications Valid unrestricted California license with the Board of Behavioral Sciences Completion of Master Degree in Counseling Psychology, Psychology, Human Services, Sociology or Behavioral Science, through an accredited institution, that meets APA accreditation. Must be able to pass a criminal background check / finger printing and drug test. Ideal Applicant Independent and driven therapist that has a strong desire for client outcomes. Must be able to maintain documentation in accordance to practice standards. Advanced training or certifications in any the following are a plus but not required: DBT, CBT, IFS, Brain Spotting, EMDR, Play Therapy, Anger Management, Prolonged Exposure, Emotion Focused Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy Must be experienced in working with children Availability Caseload will build over time. Must be available for at least 2 evenings per week until 7:00pm (at least one evening must be in office) Therapist must be able to work 2 days in the physical office in San Marcos Ca.

In office days available are:

Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Additional days may be work remotely or in office based on therapist desires.

License/Certification:

California license to practice psychotherapy (Required) Active

CAQH MUST INCLUDE CA LICENSE NUMBER ON RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED.
