Work Environment This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in your work schedule while reducing commute time. You will join a collaborative team of therapists dedicated to ongoing professional development and the best practices in therapeutic care. Our use of modern telehealth technology plays a crucial role in facilitating effective remote therapy sessions, enabling a seamless exchange between therapist and client. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and obstacles, forming the basis for individualized therapy plans tailored to their unique circumstances. Facilitate engaging therapy sessions through both individual and group modalities, utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches to ensure positive therapeutic outcomes. Continuously evaluate and adapt treatment methodologies to reflect the evolving needs of clients, ensuring that therapy remains aligned with their goals and objectives. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and therapeutic progress to uphold the integrity of treatment processes and comply with ethical standards. Stay committed to ongoing professional development by attending workshops, pursuing relevant certifications, and actively engaging in peer supervision and consultation. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and family dynamics. Your expertise will be invaluable in fostering a safe space for families and individuals to explore their emotions, navigate conflicts, and develop effective coping strategies. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your cultural competence will enhance the therapeutic relationship, contributing to more meaningful outcomes. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field. An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Maryland is required. Strong understanding and application of evidence-based therapy practices tailored to diverse client needs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport and fostering a therapeutic alliance with clients. Preferred Experience Candidates with at least two years of experience in providing therapy to individuals and families are preferred, as this role demands proficiency in navigating complex family dynamics and emotional challenges. Experience with specific methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy, will further enhance your effectiveness in this role. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
