Position Details M. Taveras, PsyD & Company Psychological Services is seeking a Florida-Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD), LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW to join our growing private practice in St. Johns, Florida . Established in 2024, our practice provides psychological therapy to individuals experiencing a wide range of clinical concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and compassionate clinician who is committed to providing exceptional psychological care , values professional autonomy, and is interested in growing a caseload within an expanding private practice. This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering: Competitive compensation Flexible scheduling with the ability to establish your own availability Hybrid in-person and telehealth opportunities Professional and clinical autonomy Opportunity to build and grow your caseload Established administrative and billing support Opportunity to become paneled with major insurance plans through the practice, including Medicare, TRICARE, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and UnitedHealthcare Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based and clinically appropriate treatment approaches Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal standards Provide both in-person and telehealth services Coordinate and collaborate with healthcare professionals and other referral sources when clinically appropriate to support continuity of care Maintain the professional and ethical standards associated with independent clinical practice Qualifications Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychologist (PhD/PsyD), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Strong clinical interviewing, assessment, and psychotherapy skills Experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, and other psychological concerns Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth services Minimum of five years of experience as a licensed clinician strongly preferred Bilingual Spanish-speaking clinicians strongly preferred We are especially interested in clinicians who are looking for a professional home where they can exercise clinical autonomy while developing a strong caseload and growing alongside an established and expanding private practice.
