Licensed Mental Health Therapist- Contractor Company:

Water's Edge Counseling & Healing Center (WECHC) is an outpatient mental health center with specialties in the treatment of eating disorders, depression, anxiety and/or trauma. See our website for more information on our approach to care (www.watersedgehc.com). General Purpose Minnesota LICSW, LP, LPCC or LMFT required. We are looking for a Licensed Therapist to provide outpatient mental health services to adults and adolescent clients. Position is a contractor position and allows for great flexibility with regards to work schedule and location of work. This position does require two full days per week in the office providing in-person care to clients who desire this. Additional hours can be completed via remote or in-person.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complete comprehensive diagnostic assessments and psychotherapy with assigned outpatient caseload 2. Provide care from a trauma-informed/trauma responsive perspective for clients presenting with trauma symptoms 3. Create individualized treatment plans with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment with assigned patients according to state and federal regulators 4. Attend and participate in case consultations per professional best practice standards 6. There are opportunities for additional services if desired (such as supervision of mental health practitioners and/or interns)

Education and Experience:

Master's Degree or higher in Mental Health related programs Minnesota Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in individual, family and/or group psychotherapy Knowledge of or interest in working with depression, anxiety and/or trauma as well as eating disorders Demonstrated knowledge of the impacts of trauma and evidenced based treatment of trauma Training and experience with EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (or other trauma oriented approached to care) preferred Experience with Family-Based Eating Disorder is helpful if interested in providing services to adolescents with eating disorders Familiarity with Christian principles and practices if interested in providing services on the Christian Integration track Skilled in clear and concise verbal and written communication Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as effectively on a team
