TADAS Counseling is seeking an experienced, fully licensed Michigan therapist to join our practice to see children ages 10+, adolescents and adults. This is a contractual position well suited for a clinician who values the independence and flexibility of contract private-practice work while having the support of an established group practice. The therapist will provide some in-person services in our Clinton Township office with option to build an entirely in-office caseload or combine with telehealth. About TADAS Counseling TADAS Counseling is in Clinton Township serving clients in person and through telehealth across Michigan. Our work goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We are particularly focused on how trauma, attachment, stress, and nervous-system responses affect the way people think, feel, behave, and relate to others. We provide referrals, billing, administrative support, credentialing assistance, Electronic Health Record system, and furnished office space so therapists can concentrate on their clinical work.
You'll Probably Thrive Here If You:
Genuinely enjoy working with preteens and adolescents as well as adults Have at least three years of clinical experience Want to provide some or all of your services in person Are curious about what is happening underneath a client's symptoms rather than simply applying a standard intervention Can demonstrate continued learning Are comfortable working independently while also appreciating consultation and collaboration Have experience with trauma, anxiety, relationships, ADHD, neurodiversity, grief and loss, or related concerns Are interested in approaches that work with both the mind and the nervous system Experience with trauma-focused approaches, EMDR, Brainspotting, play or expressive approaches for children, Parent Management Training, or other specialized clinical training is especially welcome. Requirements Active, unlimited State of Michigan clinical license allowing independent practice Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work or psychology Minimum three years of clinical experience Experience providing psychotherapy to children and/or adolescents Willingness to maintain regular in-office availability Ability to complete clinical documentation within practice requirements Professional liability insurance Strong clinical judgment and ethical practice Independent Contractor Structure Contractors determine their own availability and may choose to provide services entirely in the Clinton Township office or use a hybrid combination of in-person and telehealth sessions. Because we are specifically expanding our in-person availability for children and adolescents, this opportunity is not intended for clinicians seeking exclusively remote work. We are looking for an experienced clinician who wants to develop a meaningful caseload while maintaining the independence of contract practice and having the resources and collegial support of an established group practice.
